"Borstvoeding is toppiejoppie"

(Again, for some mysterious reason, the previous two posts did not show up on the blog - and they were really nice ones too! I will try and sort this out when I get back)

Walking back from opening my new Vanuatu internet account this morning (with a direct debit to my new Vanuatu bank account - am I settling in or what?) I was lucky enough to be present at the start of World Breastfeeding Week in the park near the Port Vila seaside. A happy occasion indeed, properly celebrated by a multivocal stringband-cum-choir, singing the soon-to-be-sweeping-the-nation “Bresfiding yu núúúúúúmbawan!”. ‘t Is maar dat je het weet.



Tomorrow I am off for the so called ‘village stay’. Bought some snorkeling gear today that I hope we will be able to use. Back on Saterday, hopefully with some more pictures.
